By creating an account, accessing the website, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Komplya provides tools that help businesses identify which obligations under the EU AI Act and the GDPR may apply to them, based on information they provide, and that assist in drafting related policy documents such as an AI Usage Policy and a Privacy Policy. The Service provides compliance information, not legal advice. Outputs generated by Komplya, including applicability reports and AI-drafted policies, are informational aids intended to support — not replace — your own legal and compliance judgment.

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account on the Komplya product application at portal.komplya.com. You agree to provide accurate information when registering, to keep your login credentials confidential, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

If you purchase a paid subscription, pricing, billing terms, and any additional conditions will be presented to you at checkout and will form part of your agreement with us.

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) submit information you do not have the right to share; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems; (d) interfere with the normal operation of the Service; or (e) reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service without our prior written consent.

The Service, including its software, design, text, and underlying methodology, is the property of Komplya Ltd and its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own internal business purposes. Reports and policy drafts generated for your account are yours to use for your own business.

The Service, including any applicability report or AI-drafted policy, is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Komplya does not guarantee that use of the Service will result in compliance with the EU AI Act, the GDPR, or any other law or regulation. Regulatory obligations depend on facts and circumstances that may not be fully captured by the information you provide, and laws and their interpretation may change.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Komplya Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonably practicable. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bulgaria.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or for legal or operational reasons. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as posting a notice on this website or contacting you directly. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
