This Cookie Policy explains which cookies Komplya Ltd sets on the Komplya website and product application, and why.
1. What this page covers
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) Komplya Ltd ("Komplya", "we", "us") uses on the Komplya website (komplya.com) and product application (portal.komplya.com), who sets them, why, and for how long. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the website and product to function and cannot be switched off. Under EU ePrivacy rules, strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent — we're only required to tell you about them, which is what this page does.
3. Analytics — and why there's no cookie to list
We use Umami, a self-hosted, privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand aggregate traffic to our site (e.g. which pages are visited, roughly how much traffic we get). Umami does not use cookies: according to Umami's own documentation, "Umami does not use any cookies in the tracking code." It does not set a cookie, does not use local storage to track you across sessions, and does not build a profile of you that persists between visits or across sites. Because no non-essential cookie is involved, there is nothing here that requires an opt-in choice — which is why this banner is a notice rather than an "accept/reject" prompt. If that ever changes (for example, if we add a tool that does set non-essential cookies), we will update this page and add a genuine consent choice before any such cookie is set.

Because we only set strictly necessary cookies, there is no non-essential cookie to opt out of. You can still control cookies through your browser settings at any time — for example, to delete existing cookies or block first-party cookies entirely — though doing so may affect basic functionality such as staying signed in or having your language remembered.

We may update this Cookie Policy if the cookies or similar technologies we use change. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date, and if we ever introduce a non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent before it is set.
